Birth control for Pidgeons in CA? In their feed? UH DUH, what about other birds that eat from that feed. DUH!

Right??! I was thinking more about the birds if prey that eat the pigeons. Seriously. We almost lost the peregrine falcon because of the chemicals we were using as pest control. What are these people thinking? Why can they not find a natural way to control the birds?

I totally agree. This is wrong. Their is just so many reasons. I can't even imagine what God is thinking right now. I think that doing this will result with many consequences. I think we need to make a petition against giving the pigeons and who knows what other birds birth control or something to let the government there no we do no like this.

The "birth control" for pigeons is probably species specific and will not harm other birds that eat the spiked food.

Umm dohhhh, nothing else swallows seeds whole people but doves and i highly doubt doves sqaut where pigeons roost. It's a logically solution to the problem CA has.

Or is no one educated enough to realize the diseases that pigeons carry, if not do a search on them. Or would you rather they have a shoot out on them?

exactly what i was thinking....instead of giving the birds birth control......how about making the areas clean so that they have less food to eat...therefore controlling their births
