See you all say you know scripture. Yet you deny Mary her title even though it is directly in Scripture.

Catholics do not give me idolatry. Thats a stupid myth. Jesus is the Highest and Mary is his mother. She deversed honor. I would go as far to say that protestants aren't a scriptural people at all. They do not obeythe scriptures they supposed know so well.

In the bible Jesus was on the cross and said, Woman .... behold your son and son behold your mother.
Mary was the vessel that brought Jesus into the world.
She wasn't meant to be some sort of idol.

Catholics honor the Virgin Mary to a higher degree than either Orthodox or Protestant faiths. Also that verse does not mean all Christians have to say 'Blessed Mary' only that they should hold her as divinely blessed which I think all Christians do to varying degrees.

The early Protestant reformers rebelled against the authority of the Pope and sought to distance themselves from all things Catholic. Some of the things they discarded were the sacraments, 7 books from the Old Testament, and the veneration and honor shown to the Virgin Mary.

I live and breathe the WORD. And in my church, we believe that Mary was blessed - but what we don't do is make her an 'idol' and above Christ. Mary was a vessel and she was willing (though afraid - as she should have been for that day and time) to allow the Spirit to use her body for the birth of OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. There is no name above his. Unfortunately, some denominations like to place her and other 'saints' on a pedestal and 'pray' to them. We don't do that. Jesus Christ is the name by which we call - and know that you can't 'get to God' without knowing first Christ.

We, as Christians, are all blessed because of Jesus Christ. Mary was a sinner, just like the rest of us. But she was hand-picked by God himself to deliver our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. We are not to focus on Mary or honor her. Our honor goes to Jesus alone. Even Mary knew her place and did not want the focus to be on her, but on her Saviour as well. All Christians do know that Mary was indeed blessed.....but because she was "chosen" not because she has divine power to hear or help us. Only Jesus can do that.

Catholics have faith that Mary might desire to be honored not worshiped. Any Catholic worshiping Mary does not understand Catholicism! The Hail Mary is a prayer that in basic terms describes how the Lord chosen her to mom the Son. The latter area soliciting for her to 'pray for our sins' is by technique of the fact she replaced into assumed into heaven (as in, did not die) so she might desire to be close with God. in actuality, Catholics pray for the period of the lifeless, to not the lifeless. all and sundry who particularly worships Mary isn't Catholic... playstation Catholics additionally call the Church 'mom' or the 'bride of Christ'.

Mary was simply a woman chosen by God to be the mother of Jesus, nothing more. She was a sinner just like everyone else, despite was some denominations may say.

Not all Christians are Catholic or Eastern Orthodox hence not all Christians refer to Mary as Blessed, some call her Saint instead as she was Sanctified.
