I met a guy 5-weeks ago. From day one we both knew we were soulmates. Fast-forward 3-weeks later. We both a had a little too much to drink and attempted to have sex...FOR THE 1ST TIME IN LIFE my vagina didn't get wet and eventually his penis went soft. The next couple of times were the same. We had 1 successful sexual encounter. Now I've finally got my pipes working (I don't know how I think it was just mental) and he goes soft during sex. He says he's never experience this before, and he thinks its because we've been having problems and doesn't think he'll be able to please me sexually. A mistake I made/make is talking about sex (what I don't like) and I make jokes about how he performs during sex (but nothing about him going soft just his strokes). Is there anything we can do to get on track?

The expectations were too high and are too high on one or both sides. Too much pressure, and it was sold too high (i.e. we were MADE to be soulmates...or...its the BEST TV SHOW EVER). That can cause a lot of stress

Slow down and it will work itself out.

Maybe you are meant to be good friends not lovers. You probably have a lot in common, which lead the two of you to believe you were soul mates. Put the sex to the side and see what happens.
