I was reading the other day, that because so many Polish craftsmen, have left their country to come here, that there is a severe shortage
of workers. Buildings that should have been
finished,are years behind. A Polish goverment
official said they would like the workers to go back!!

My other half has been out of work for nearly a month now and struggling to find work despite breaking his backside to find a job he's had no luck yet.

This is just what we need! More competition!

Oh and we also have a 8 month old baby and a mortgage to pay. If he continues not to be able to find work we'll lose our house and need rehousing - meaning the Council will have to house us and we'll end up needing housing benefit etc - costing the taxpayer (including those who want to welcome the imigrants) money.

My Other Half hates benefits and wants to work. He even thought of factory or labouring but apparently that all goes to Poles these days. The most he's been able to find so far is 3 nights a week delivering pizzas for Dominos, any money he earns will be deducted from his dole.

To say "they do jobs we won't do " is SHITE and I am angry to hear that. My other half as worked as a barman and in MaccyD's. He'll do anything honest.

We do not have enough jobs for our own people let alone all these extras.

My view is that that's a slight exaggeration. The total population of Turkey is about 70,000,000 - and most of them would rather NOT come here even if they could. The other point is that Turkey is nowhere near full membership of the EU. If it happens at all, it wouldn't be for at least 15 years; personally, I can't see it happening, too many paranoid types are against it, I guess that includes you.

Bad mistake for the EU. You have to understand, that three basic needs oft politicians are:
1. To lie to the public about everything
2. To fill ones own pocket, without limitation and moral
3. To get as much constituents as possible
So, basically, since every politicians wants to have as much voters and tax payers as can be, the corrupt Turks will come to the EU.

let us be truly unipolar and allow free movement of people around the globe. lets share our riches as also poverty in true christian style. we want to allow free movement of goods and services as that will bloat the already obese bottom lines of our big companies, but when we talk about people,we all shudder. why the double standards??????????????
