I had an op in my chest about 2 weeks ago and a few days after op i started to get a pain below my ribs about level with my belly button. The pain is getting stronger and in the last two days what appears to be bruising has apeared and seems to be getting worse. I have not done anything to ie bashed it because i have been in bed recovering from my op. I cannot see the op on my chest being linked. Any ideas what it is ? Going to doctors tomorrow but by experience in the UK with docs is that most dont care and havnt a clue most of the time

I've heard of doctors leaving "stuff" inside of you after they close you up. Like scalpels, medical devices, and towels, if they did leave something in you, it could have slipped down. I'm not trying to scare you, but I think you should have it looked into.
