Why are you scared of us? Also why is it hard for you to accept that there are people who just do not believe in a god?

The only thing that scares me about religious people is forcing everyone to convert as well as trying to make a government based on a Theocracy.

As a Christain for over 37 yrs. I find there is nothing that athsiests, & whatever other groups you mentioned that has anything that scares me, Why should I be scare, I know my outcome & I know yours. You just found a Christian that is not afraid of anything that any of these groups you mentioned has that I am afraid of.

Who ever said that NONE of us accept you? Look, I consider myself Catholic and liberal. Two of my best friends are Atheist, and my father's gay. And the one thing I can't stand is sterotyping. What makes you think that ALL religious people don't accept you? I understand, to a certain extent, why you feel the way you do. There are some religious people out there who try to shove their beliefs down your throat.
But isn't that the exact same thing you're trying to do right now to us?
why do you have to generalize? This question would have made so much more sense if you had asked "Religious people, What is it about us Atheists/Agnostic/Nonbeliever... that scares SOME of you so much?" (Although to be quite honest, I don't think anyone fears you... sorry to burst your little bubble)
to tell you the truth, because you asked a question like this, it makes me think that YOU'RE the one who doesn't accept other beliefs. Prove me wrong, please, and try to be way, way, way more open-minded than you are right now.

Where did you ever hear that religious people were scared of anyone? Do you have a link or a source as to what you're referring to....or are you just stirring the pot?
If anything, we would be saddened and feel sorry for you that you haven't let God into your life. I know that there are many who don't believe in God. We can't control what you do or think. All we can do is tell you about God and pray for you. At that point it's in your hands to do what you will.

In order to understand why theists are wary of anything secular, you must focus on their ultimate goal: their 'soul' with their god in their heaven for eternity.
Anyone (atheists, agnostics, deists, etc.) who proposes an idea, thought or feeling that the pious won't be spending eternity with their god will be shunned, condemned, attacked, ridiculed, slandered, etc... among many other forms of fair, unbiased and/or humane treatment. (So they say.)
Also, if you , at all, instill an iota of doubt that there isn't a 'heaven' into a pious mind, that mind will most likely reject that doubt with as much violent action as necessary per the individual.

Some of them are afraid that there will be an increasing number of Atheists/Agnostic/Non-believers and the number of religious people will dwindle to nothing

I accept that many people do not believe in God. But where do you come up with the idea that any of us fear them? I fear no one. What makes you think that we fear anyone?
Btw, most people that claim to be atheists, really are not. A true atheist would not worry or care what anyone thought about anything. Seems to me that they are the ones that are in fear.
Probably, and more then likely, the fear of God.
