Lucifer is the latin translation of the Greek word phosphorus. It means Light Bearer, more commonly known as the Morning Star (Venus). As far as I know the word Lucifer appears only once in the bible (Isaiah 14:12) and does not seem to refer to anyone other than a very prideful King of Babylon.
So, never having seen a light bearer (or a morning star) I can't describe it :)

Lucifer is a fallen angel, i'm sure he is quite the awe inspiring figure and attractive. Not a monster at all.

Lucifer the christian angel? If he were actually real, I'd describe him as beautiful in his countenance and terrible in his vengeance.
Lucifer the deity? I'd describe him as meek, gentle and mild. An intellectual who inspires thought and contemplation.
