If a guy came up to you and told you "I only date women with big t*ts!" What would you think of them?
If a white woman walked up to you and said, "I only date black guys!" What would you think?
I have the same opinion of anyone who chooses their most important relationship based strictly on physiology.
I get the whole sociology thing where people build relationships within the sociological norms.
I get someone being open enough to fall in love with someone in spite of sociological boundaries and having a relationship outside of sexual or racial sociological norms.
I do not get people who shrug off the sociological relationship boundaries to create new relationship boundaries based strictly on physiology. I think those newly created physiological boundaries are bigoted.

You are generalizing. Many straight people are quite sympathetic to the rights of gays. In the Gay Pride marches in San Francisco, there is always a large contingent carrying the banner "Straights for Gay Rights." And gay people do sometimes say bad things about straights, especially when they are angry or frustrated. The most common things are that they are narrow-minded, or afraid of their repressed sexuality, or bigoted.
We bisexuals hear it all!

I think that human beings can be very judgmental and cruel toward things that they do not understand and I can say I have seen a lot of christians abusing gay people in R&S. Its not what anyone else believes or judges you for it is not up to them to do this . It is sad that people cannot see the good in people. love and light

No one should abuse another regardless of what they do,Jesus told us to judge the sin and not the sinner, having said this it is a fact that for Christians homosexuality is wrong and sinful and all the out-pouring from the media to make it respectable will never work for real followers of the Lord.
Another sad fact is that a lot of Christians cannot seem to see the difference between the act of homosexuality and the person.

People who condemn gay people are never straight people themselves. They are always closeted gay people who are trying to hide their own homosexual desires, and don't want anyone to know. A real straight person knows what they are and is comfortable in their own sexuality.
A neighbor of mine once was a complete homophobe 24/7, and one night was caught in a highway rest area doing service to an interstate truck driver. Boy his wife and kids were embarrassed the next day when it hit the newspapers. I laughed.

Not all straight people are bad to gay people. I've had the privilege of knowing many fine, decent, accepting straight people in my life.
It's just the ones who allow homophobia to have complete power over their minds. Their pride won't let them see that homophobia is a sin. They grip tightly to it and cannot see the horror and misery it causes in the lives of gay people. They are not born homophobic, they choose to be homophobic. It makes them do and say all sorts of nasty things and they won't even admit they are promoting further homophobia with their words and actions. They'd rather justify their homophobia and try to convince others that it's godly and virtuous.
Oh, and to Tom above. Give us a break! When gay people try to pass laws to prevent heterosexuals from marrying, adopting children and serving in the military, you might have an issue.

I'm straight and gay people do NOT offend me, nor do lesbians nor do trans-genders. All of them do NOT offend me nor will I treat them bad. They are people plain and simple
