i am sure that it could be possible 2 put more than 1 movie on a dvd , the quality would go worse,,, but any1 can recommend a good software 2 do this

use tmpgenc, you can change the bitrate of the movie down, it will allow you to select dvd mpeg as the encoder.
I do this for all sorts of recordings and get up to 8 hours on one DVD.
