Hi Natalia, the short answer is that since you were baptized a Catholic you will remain a member of the true church of Christ.
You are not obliged to adopt the Muslim faith at all and your Father or is it step Father? has no right to put you under any pressure to change, so you could seek advice from a professional source as you have rights as a person.

the fact that your dad gets furious when you prefer the Catholic Faith over Islam should be one reason to prefer the Catholic faith.
But a word of caution, if you live in a Muslim state, even secular Muslim, you might find yourself under Muslim law (Sharia) and that could make your decision to be Catholic an act of conversion away from Islam, which is punishable by death.

I'm sorry that the world is so mixed up that children are not free to choose without upsetting their parents. It is hard when parents are angry and have their own ideas about what is best for you. Believe in your heart as you choose and trust that God will guide you to better understanding. Study many religions before you make any choices. I see a little of each one in the face of my 'God'

Then be catholic. I have no god but don't let someone else tell you what to name yours, there's nothing to explain other than you have decided on being catholic. Enlist the help of your local church if you need to, just don't start another holy war.

You are an individual, not an extension of either or both of your parents, therefore, it's up to you. No one is born into any religion, and baptism is meaningless, unless it matters to you. Only you will live your life, so you should do what makes sense to you.

By the way, you're not limited to your parents' religions. You can choose any, or none.

Maybe your mom can help. I don't know a lot of either of those faiths. Sometimes I have seen boys raised as the dad, and girls as the mom. I would hope that your parents would respect your decision.

i think u should go read more about islam and get to know people ur age

then u decide
even though u might think islam is strict in the beginning but when u really beleive in what u do as a muslim u would feel it as normal
islam is a great religion when u know about it the right way and not from people that try to get u away from it

I don't know that you should. Try avoiding putting salt on the wound as much as you can.
