Nothing good ever comes of it. You won't have the chance to regret it, you'll be gone. And what i've heard myself, is that it is the most egocentric thing you can do. It leaves your friends and family, parents and everyone who care(d) with tremendous amounts of pain.
It is not the easiest way out, because it takes a lot of courage. I always thought that it would be the easiest way out for me too... IF i had no friends, pets and parents! ;-)

It doesn't make a difference whether it is an easy way out or not. I mean easy for who? For you? probably not, for your family? Doubt it...
What you should really think about is if you are ready to give up all the possibilities that lie ahead for you. Are you so eager to give up your place in this world? You are here for a reason and although you may not see it now all you have to do is ask and be patient and it will be shown to you.
Suicide is FINAL there is no going back, there is no second chance. I don't know about you but the reason why I never actually went through with it was because of the what if's. What if I just stuck it out and tomorrow changed. What if this hardship I am going through now actually plays some unknown role in my future. The crazy thing was, it did. I won't go into it now because it is a long story but if I hadn't gone through the worst time of my life I literally would not be where I am today.
So you never know where life is taking you and why, so just go along for the ride.
Imagine this, imagine that there is no heaven, that there is no hell, that when you die all that exsists is nothingness. There is no god but likewise no devil or eternal punishment. Are you ready to give up and spend eternity there in nothingness? or do you want to live a long full life and experience all that life has to offer so that you can pass away in peace an old wrinkly and content person who did everything they wanted to do who may have made some mistakes but never gave up, and has no regrets....You can be that person just love yourself tell yourself everyday that you are loved!!!

It's being defeated.

Firstly, anyone can get through anything with the right frame of mind. We're all humans at the end of the day, and no-one is more superior than any other. They just apply themselves better.

Whatever brings someone to such a low that they want to commit suicide is something that needs questionning. It needs to be questionned to such an extent that the answer is found.

Most people don't ask themselves the most important question - WHY?

The more we ask this, the deeper we get to the root of our problems. Once someone has stripped the problem down, the only thing they can do is to build themselves back up, new and fresh :)

Suicide is a waste of life and a temporary loss of sanity. Anyone that thinks this is the answer to their problems is wrong, it's just leaving all their loved ones with more problems than they deserve.

Make changes, don't give up.

:)

suicide is a "perminant solution to a temporary problem"
If this is what you are thinking go to the hospital or call a therapist, or close friend and discuss why you are feeling this way--BEST THING IS TO GO TO THE HOSPITSAL on your own before someone puts you there. I have had to go to the hospital because of the thought os suicide and after I got out I felt a lil better. I see my therapist on a regular basis so that I don't become suicidal or if I do I can talk about why I feel that way. It helps to talk about things...so talk to someone...someone that you think will understand!!! I'm here If you want to talk to me. Never Let Go Of HOPE.

I disagree. No matter how you die, it's going to happen. So whether it's a self-inflicted death, accident, illness, etc., the end result is always the same. A unique trait of suicide is the person decides when and where it's going to happen.

I personally think it takes a lot of guts to kill yourself. Most people are afraid of it, and therefore try to force the concept that killing yourself is wrong onto other people. Although, if you happen to have anything you do enjoy in life still, I would recommend that person think twice about doing it.

know what you start thinking....

You start thinking that suicide is the only thing that can take away all the pain, fix everything.... and it sounds like the truth but it's a terrible lie.

Consider the truth for a moment.
Suicide doesn't take away the pain.... it multiplies it. It multiplies it times TEN and gives it to everyone that loves you, likes you and cares about you.... and you're not that selfish. Look here, I'll show you what I mean. You can't steal $10 from your grandmother, how can you kill her grandchild? You can't steal a hairbrush from your best friend, how can you murder her best friend? You can barely take a toy away from your child for an hour.... how can you steal their last line of defense, their parent, life as they know it? You can't. You aren't that selfish. You'll never be that selfish. Promise now that you won't ever forget. Not now. Not ever. Don't wait....

Now before you try telling yourself it's okay cause nobody loves you... think again. Take five minutes to refocus. You have a family that may want to pinch your head off, but they still love you. You may be on the outs with your best friend, or husband, wife, lover... whoever, but they still care about you anyways. You are loved and needed by someone and if you take your own life you will only multiply your pain times ten and give it to them. I'll say it just one more time.... You aren't that selfish.

There are better answers than suicide anyway. You just thought you had thought of everything. You haven't yet. You know suicide is no longer an option for you so just KEEP THINKING. You'll come up with something. You'll see.
I'm not saying here that a person who has considered suicide is selfish. It's desperate thinking. It is the act of suicide, murdering someone that everyone close to you cares about..... that's what's selfish. Please understand the difference is huge.
Our life is the gift of God and you are no one to destroy it.

It is the easy way out but think of the feelings of the people you leave behind, it's a very selfish act ,not being horrid cause i'm a suicidal too, but that's how i try to think about it.

i don't think so, though that may be because i am suicidal myself. it takes a hell of a lot of guts to kill yourself - not only is there the possibility of it failing and causing major damage, it is often very painful, depending on the method. there have been people that have swallowed bleach in an attempt to kill themselves - the bleach corroded the lining of their stomach and the stomach acid started to corrode their insides. they were in such agony that they threw themselves through glass. just imagine that pain. plus, how can it possibly have been easy to suffer so much that suicide is considered? people always say it is easy, without thinking about what that person has suffered, what is going through their mind. how can people think it is easy to take your own life? people should start to think again.

No, it is not the easy way out! Unless you are an atheist and don't believe in God, life has been given by Him and you have no right to cut it short.

There are many alternative solutions. Don't give up. Email me if you need to discuss. No need to pay anything.

Suicide is the selfish way out. Think about all the people that your death would effect. Think about all the people who will never really stop mourning for you. Nothing in life is worth killing yourself over. My best friend's brother commited suicide and it tore apart his entire family. His parents got divorced because they blamed each other and couldnt get over it his death. Life is worth living. Only you can prove that to yourself. I did.
