and now has killed 2 of them? I find that disgusting in inhumane. Why did they do this? There is just too many evil people in this world. They are nice people those Koreans, and yet evil are out to get them. I like that passage in the bible where it says "Vengence is mine" says the Lord, "I will repay" Amen to that. There is no better vengence than God's. I heard a few weeks ago these christians were hung upon crosses by the Islam people and had a rope tied around them and set a light in fire. These people that say Islam is peacefull, I do not agree. Then they go and blow themselfs up and say they are doint the will of God, when God says "Thou shalt not Murder" This world chritians is on a downhill sprial and fast. It has now gotten to the point of no return. I cannot wait when Jesus returns to the earth, he will rule the world with an iron skepter. And the ungodly will be no more. Christians did you know it is becoming more at risk of living in the world as a chrisitan. I remember the

Why do you direct your question at Christians? I find it disgusting, too, and I am an atheist. Anyone can see these "Islamists" for what they are: terrorists who enjoy killing and destruction for their own sakes.

I agree wholeheartedly with Mac. Religion is the problem not Islam per se. The [xtian] USA and its allies had no business going into Afghanistan or Iraq either, killing many thousands of innocents.
The Crusades were NOT in retaliation for 400 years of Islamic aggression as one poster here claimed. It started as an attempt to reclaim Jerusalem for Christianity. And they lost the crusades anyway...
It is terrible what's being done to innocents, in the name of freedom, democracy, religion, power. A human problem yes, not an islamic one. What extra risk is there in the world for a christian? Does the same risks not apply to a muslim? Or anyone else for that matter. You're clearly a fundamentalist.... :(

The tragic kidnapping and the killing of the Korean Christian Missionaries is abhorable, repulsive and morally unacceptable.
But they already know that Afghanistan is not a stable country and that the Talibans are bunch of religious extremists who can not tolerate Christian propagation in their midst.
The Koreans are not aid workers as we are made to believe, they are hard core christian missionaries who are bent to hell in converting the muslims to christianity by hook or by crook.
The responsiblity and blame should not only be put squarely on the Korean government or the US or the Afghanistan. They had done the best that they can. But also on the Korean Churches who send these people to war zones even though they are aware of the danger of their clandestine operation.
My Korean friends were once Korean Christian Missionaries. I have studied their strategy, lived with them and in fact worked with them. I went with them to muslim places believing that they are there to give aid and services but I found out that they want to convert the muslims for christianity. So gotta do my job, I converted them to islam instead. Believe me these missionaries do not read the bible even in their mother tongue, Korean, so they were surprise to find many errors in the bible. Try it with the Korean Missionaries near you, they are in Syria, Jordan, Sudan, Nigeria, Malaysia and any muslim countries even in Saudi Arabia! You will just see how these people are "brainwash" by their mother church in Korea into bringing a message that they themselves are ignorant...

NO,i think it's disgusting for the strongest Christian nation on Earth (America) to kill hundreds of thousands of Afghan's and hundreds more made refugees,to invade and kill Iraqi's and displace them and then and only then offer them your own Historical engineering of selective democracy (freedom).
you are either un-informed or suffer from some form of narrow mindedness.
Don't just be objective, be subjective to the realities of your own conditions.
hope you become a sincere seeker of the truth
and i am a Muslim but we are told that we are not self sufficient,we must seek the Truth.
"Ignorance is a disease which cannot be cured" my advise weather you ignore it or not i mean it in the best of ways,so do not be offended.

Blame the pastors who sent them. These are mostly clueless kids from middle class families. They thought they would promote the word of God by going to a country where the punishment for proselytizing is death, and they lied about it by telling the Afghan government they were going for a "cultural exchange." They put videos of themselves teaching Afghan women and children Christian songs (in Korean!) on the web while they were still in the country. They went to Khandahar without any security of any kind.
This whole affair was amazingly stupid. If they or their pastors had brains in their heads, they would have known that these kids were going to their deaths. Now they're captured, and two have in fact died. Am I happy about it? No, they're still people, and even stupid people don't deserve death. But if Korean church elders didn't send their kids into warzones as though they were going on safari, this wouldn't have happened.

The crusades were a reaction to 400 years of Islamic aggression and invasion.
That's not to say that Christians always acted honorably, it is just to defend yourself or your country but not just to slaughter innocent people and Jesus would never have approved or encouraged that.
It's sad that the Koreans were Christians providing foreign aid to Muslims and that was the thanks they got. I wonder how many Muslims would put themselves in danger to give aid to people of other faiths like Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus and many others do?

I would think it was disgusting even if they were Jew, Hindu, Atheist, or anyone for that matter.
I think one thing you fail to understand that its becoming more of a risk to simply be human in the world.
Zealots and fanatics exist in every religion. I was disgusted to hear the tales of the Christians slaughtering Islamics during the crusades, I was disgusted by Nazis killing Jews, and I was disgusted by Jimmy Jones talking hundreds of people into killing themselves.
This isn't just a Christian issue, its a human one.

This site will keep you up to date on all the ghastly crimes committed by our neighborhood practitioners of peace.
They are on war path for sure and are infecting the entire planet with violence and chaos on a scale of the likes of which we've never witnessed before.
The only thing we can do is pray and remain true to our faith in the Lord and pray that he returns quickly and take us home.
I attend one of the best Churches in the entire world with people who are sincere with hearts of gold.
And it just happens to be a Korean Church.
I have been to many different Churches in my life always searching for one that's genuine and sincere in their desire to worship and glorify God and do his will instead of theirs.
I finally found what I was looking for when I first attended Pathway United in Milpitas,California.
So it really breaks my heart when I find out that innocent Koreans have been killed by our friendly practitioners of peace knowing how wonderful of a heart they truly are.
It is becoming more dangerous to be a Christian in this world because this is a fallen world full of evil and sin and our place is not of this world but is in Heaven with our Father.
The world hates us because first it hated the Father.
So pray and remain true to heart and whenever your heavy of heart and weary just talk to Jesus and ask him to comfort you and fill your heart with peace and love.
God bless you and may peace and joy always be with you.
