yeah, i couldn't think of an appropriate title... ok, i am 16 in yr 10 and i have had a MASSIVE crush on someone in yr 7, she is 14 and people seem to ridicule me if i even talk about her, even though we have known eachother for years. I cant pick up the courage to ask her out because of what others may think... normally i would just say, "NOPE. I'm doing what i want to do, you cant stop me!" but as most of my friends seem to think it is wierd as well, i don't want to COMPLETELY destroy my reputation at school...

please, anyone answer me, but if you can get a teen of about the same age to help answer (if tou are a parent of course...)

thanks,
Z

Let me just tell you this. Your relationships with most of the people at school are not based on anything that well last for the long term. There more or less based on the simple fact that you share the same school, nothing more, and you'll notice which relationships are really like this by how your summers go and how your last year after school goes. But with this lady you may have the chance to make something that could last a life time. So..

1. Don't let shallow, short relationships wiegh heavier in your mind then the possibility of a deep, long relationship.

2. The hardest thing to deal with in the future regarding your school years is REGERTS, so if you don't think you'll regert never tring, don't worry about it.....
