Last night my daughter and i weighted our self....and my daughter is 11 but is 85 kg....is that too much....how can i help her.....

85 kg translates to 187 pounds but it is impossible to know if your daughter is overweight without knowing her height. Unless she is very tall, chances are that she is overweight.

If you want to help your daughter, I suggest you start with a visit to the family doctor. He will need to be sure there isn't a medical basis for your daughter's weight. Also, she is young and still growing so any necessary weight control would be best based on a plan designed by a nutritionist or dietitian. Your doctor can send you for that consult.

In the meantime, encourage your daughter to eat lean meats and lots of fruits and veggies. Also encourage her to get involved in a sport or physical activity (dancing, bicycling, swimming, etc.) that she enjoys. This will help her burn calories, slim down and maintain health.
