Is it possible to save the completed work while extracting is in process in adobe photoshop?

Some times while the extraction work is in process , if it is needed to close the work, is there any way to save the work upto that point of extraction, in adobe photoshop? Thanks for the answer.

I can't imagine that Adobe would include a feature like that. Most filters or processes can not be interrupted, or if they are, they are canceled.

My hunch is therefore no.
