I am not a coffee addict. But I drink lot of tea !
The medical Science has different openion about the side effect of these two popular drinks. Many say it is good to drink tea for heart patients and so on.
But as far as sleep is concerned both these drinks will have some effects since it is a stimulent. Moderate drinking of coffee or tea (say 3 to 4 cups of it per day) will not affect your sleep. You should think that these drinks will not hamper your sleep, other wise psychological disturbance could occur and you may not get sound sleep !

coffee is 'habit forming', one could get addicted! No great harm, though! It can affect sleep at night, as it has stimulant effect on most people! It has some good side to it, like small dose of alcohol has! Within limits!

I'm 100% addicted to coffee. You would not want to be around me if I didn't have it!
