that works but there is no lightbulb meaning that there would be light if there were a lightbulb ... anyways, do you still waste electricity by just having the light switch on?

its kinda confusing... lol i hope u understand....

basically its is u have the light swith on the "on" side but you have no lightbulb to conduct light, do u still waste electricity just by having the swith on "on"

A missing bulb is identical to an open switch. It's a break in the circuit, through which no current can flow. Hence, no energy can be dissipated.

f the switch is on... but no bulb in the socket... then you use no energy.

if you trace the circuit... you will find that "as far as the electricity cares" the bulb being gone is the same as the switch being off.

No buddy since in that case no elecricity is flowing thus no electricity( heat rather ) is wasted.
