last summer i met this guy and we were becoming really good friends but then his family had to move out of the state. about a month ago he told me his family was moving back and would im and message me on myspace constantly saying how he was going to come over as soon as he got back and how excited he was to see me again. we talked up until the day he moved back. then he just stopped talking to me. i would comment him asking him when we were gonna hang out but he wouldn't write back. tonight i sent him an im and he was extremely mean to me. like i had done something to him or something. i didn't do anything. i don't understand why he is acting so rude. i know that some of his close friends don't like me, could that be it?

Its sounds like he could have met a girl and doesn't want to talk to you anymore. He could have been mean to you because he is trying to get you not to contact him anymore. An immature move, but some people do that in order not to hurt someone's feelings by telling them the truth. You need to have a conversation with him ... not over the internet... and ask him whats going on. If he doesn't want to communicate with you, forget about it. You don't deserve a "friend" like that.

Well sounds like to me he was just using you until he moved back, which most likely he was saying the same things to another chick. Guys aren't always smart in the way they do things. If he doesn't get back to you when you IM him,or treats you mean and you feel you have done nothing wrong, let him be and move on to another. He shouldn't of treated you like that but he did, now get over it and move on. Its OK we have all gone through this sort of thing. He wont be your first or your last.I promise.

You should always be skeptical about somebody that you only contact through electronic internet communication. It's easier to know what's going on with somebody to talk to them face to face or over the telephone so you can hear the tones in his voice. Its possible that his friends are making him feel embarassed about you, which is silly, but it happens. Sorry about that for you.

his friends who don't like you said some things to him when he moved back.. maybe stuff like your a ho...and this probaly crushed him considering deep down he was liking on you...e-mail him back and say i don't know whats going on or if people are feeding you lies but i do know i like you...please respond.
well you don't have anything to loose.. if you don't like him in that way well just say you mean a lot to me. if he doesn't respond his loss..

It could be it and that's soo immature. He probably heard rumors about you..Call him or e-mail him and ask why is he so rude to you all of suddenly? and if it's because of your rumors, Forget about this friend of yours...LOSER! He doesn't have a mind of his own,

he was leading you on from a distance now that he is close to you he doesnt want the committment of coming face to face with you.
