This revolver was probably made in the 1940's. I could let someone know the serial # if that would help.

One of my recent magazines showed the same type gun but it was post war. In NRA very good condition, they appraised it at $300.00. Inspections means everything however and exact model. They ended up with 3-4 models of this gun, the last being a model 17.

I'm a Gunshop Owner,Appraiser and Collector. I'd be happy to help you but I need some additional information to give you this guns value. There are actually (2) Smith & Wesson K-22 Masterpiece Handguns, (1) Pre-war and (1) Post-War. The serial number would be good but I need to know the barrel length, caliber as marked inside on the frame under the cylinder (It should be engraved there depending on which model it is.) Adjustable Sights vs. fixed sights? Just the basic's and then I can give you an accurate value based on overall condition. Try and guess based on a percentage of original finish. Is it worn? Mint condition? Any rust or pitting from rust? A digital photo would be a big help . If you need an e-mail address to send one I'll give you my address. If interested get back to me here.
