Would you follow this book? wouldnt you say this man and his angel teach differnt than the Quran so we should not follow?
Is this not the problem Muhammad would have had? his angel did not agree with his word of God but taught different and yet Muhammad followed the angel rather than the word of God?

Rev it seems good to them that Muhammad rejected the word of God to follow an angel who disagreed with God.
I am curious how it would work if another man came wiht a new message perhaps an angel teaching Christ is God. We who know the true God know that he does not send angels or prophets contradicting his word for this very reason.

Amber Einstien is not attempting to be insulting but speaking the truth..sometimes people are insulted by the truth but it remains true none the less.
It should not be insulting if it is true.

Ahmed the word of god thatw e ahve today is consistant wiht the word of God available to Muhamamd...he had no other word of God to go by but he chose to believe a spirit that disagreed with God....There is no way to justify this. A man can not be a prophet of God and disagree with the word of God.

TJTB it is not a pissing contest. We who know God should offer this truth to those who are deceived. Is it good to agree with a man who is deceived by a devil?
should we agree with him to his damnation? Is it evil to offer a man the salvation Christ offered us? If a man is headed down the road which ends in a cliff do you not warn him? Do you say praise God and not say a word?

Amber the Muslim religion has its roots in Christianinity and Judaism Your Qu'ran tells you it is the same God.
The angel that Muhamamd refers to as Gabriel obviously did not agree with the word of God...Read My Bible and see he taught a different word ...Now th only word of the God of Abrham available to Muhamamd is the Bible the Quran says it agrees with but does not. If Muhamamd and this suppsoed angle agreed wiht the word of God that was available in 600 the time of Muhamamd it would agree with the atonement. It does not..therfore this suposed angel was teaching differnent than the available word of God. Now is it good for a prophet to agree with a spirit that teaches different than his holy word?
The word of God says not. A man can not disagree with God's word and the prophets of God and be a prophet of God.

Amber anyone who says they believe in God should ask this question we should try a spirit that claims to speak for God.
Why would we follow a devil who disagrees with God? Muslims absolutely would have to ask this question and if Muhammad was a prophet of God he would have to question any spirit that said it was from God. What did Muhamamd have to answer this question but the avaialble word of God...If this spirit disagreed with God's word and his prophets Muhamamd if he had been a prophet of God would have rejected this as a demon.

Lawrence the Allah of the Qu'ran says he is the God of the Bible. My concern as should be yours is the Bible and the Qu'ran are not the same..If Muhammad was a prophet of God who spoke wiht a spirit that disagreed with the Bible which was the only word of God Muhamamd had available to him...How does Muhamamd verify the spirit he spoke with was from God? say what you will I believe you yourself would question a spirit that disagreed with what you believed to be the word of God. Moses said that a prophet of God could nto disagree with the word of god nor the prophets that went before him...How does Muhamamd reconcile the fact that he was agreeeing wiht a spirit that was disagreeing with with the word of God and his prophets and yet Muhamamd was professing to be a prophet of God?
The God that was worshipped before Muhammad says this is impossible ..Did God change his mind?
If God did change his mind doesnt thei lead to demons teaching a word that is nto his and people not knowing who

Lawrence I have read much of the Qu'ran and I do not see it as saying the Bible was corrupted I do see where it teaches the Bible was not understood.
the Quran teaces that it is in agreement wiht the Bible and it is a word veryfying the previous word. The problem is we know this can not be true these books do not agree, God tell us to test a spirit to know if it is of God..We use his word..IOf a spirit does nto agree with God's word the spirit is nto of God...Why woudl Muhamamd meet a spirit that tuaght Jesus did not atone for sin and agree with it if he believed the word of God? If Muhamamd rejected the word of God how could he have been a prophet of God?

Lawrence If you are saying the Bible is corrupted after Muhammad (which would have to be the case If the Bible was ever in harmony with the Qu'ran)
I would Invite and even implore you to seek a Bible that predates Islam and see for yourself that they all teach the same Gospel. This is exactly my point that Muhamamd followed a spirit that disagreed with the word of God. If the Qu'ran says the two were ever in agreement I would ask you to show me this Gospel before Muhammad.

Hi djmantx :-)
Three verses from Gabriel in the book of Daniel have a prophetic density measurement 12,472 times greater than the entire Qur'an.
Since Allah exists outside the influence of time-space, then Allah would know everything. The logic of this viewpoint permits us to state that Allah would know all human events whether they occurred in the past, the present or the distant future. Allah would only need to speak specific words to a prophet. There would be absolutely no need to change even one word.
Muslims believe that Allah gave specific words to Muhammad in the Qur'an. Later, Allah changed the words. Muslims call this the doctrine of abrogation. By this doctrine, words received from Gabriel are replaced (abrogated, canceled) by words received much later through Muhammad's spiritual experiences. If Allah is replacing specific words with so-called better words, does Allah truly exist outside time-space? Why didn't Allah reveal the best verse at the very beginning?
To Daniel, Gabriel foretells that the Messiah will be killed. Jesus death on the cross met this requirement. However, to Muhammad, Gabriel reveals that Jesus was never killed.
Simple logic supports that between the two prophets, Gabriel cannot be the same spiritual being. A message coming from outside time-space would not change to later contradict itself. Daniel and Muhammad did not receive words from the same spiritual being. Who is the true archangel Gabriel?
Since Daniel accurately foretold the future, the Gabriel who spoke to Daniel came from God
However, a "false" Gabriel appears to have spoken to Muhammad from INSIDE time-space. No long-term prophecies have been observed. This infers that the message given to Muhammad is not from God. Muhammad appears to have been deceived. If the false Gabriel could foretell the distant future, then the message would be found acceptable.
Gabriel's message to Muhammad attempts to refute the Christian message. The central Christian message states, "The Messiah died on the cross for the sins of humanity." From a Christian viewpoint, Muhammad's message is an attack on the foundation of the Christian faith. It is important to understand the message of God's love that Jesus brought to humanity. Jesus sacrificial death was foretold by the archangel Gabriel to Daniel the prophet.
The Qur'an is a false revelation at the 99.9% confidence level. This conclusion is based on archaeological evidence and analysis of both of the Qur'an and the Bible. To date, not even one archaeological item has been uncovered to support Muhammad's claim that Jesus did NOT die on the cross. In contrast, a substantial number of archaeological items now support the Christian view of Jesus' death on the cross.
A truth seeker, will take the time to investigate for himself.

Many people said that...
The problem was that.. a simple Bedwin illiterate man, came with no Miracle except a book.. The Quran.. Many felt jelous and did the same saying: "I'm a prophet, I've no Miracle except this book".
The solid ground that Muslims stand upon to face such lies is the Quran itself... unlike the bible, where we see many version, and popes come and modify a version, then agree on a new international version which is different from the past versions is an example.. Quran wasn't modified since 1500.
Since 1500 years ago, the book is the same.. no letter, just a letter, has been added or removed.. For Allah says in the Quran:
"Lo! We, even We, reveal the Reminder, and lo! We verily are its Guardian." 15:9
"And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful."
"Say: Verily, though mankind and the jinn should assemble to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof though they were helpers one of another." 17:88
One Example was Mohammad Ali Mizra, who came saying he's a prophet.. with a sharia that abrogated the Quran.. Bahaism. If you read his book you'll find that:
"Do not hit an egg in the plate where you are gonna eat it in later"
"There is no hell, heaven is only on earth.. who denies thgat, will suffer in hell fire"!!!!
"If you saw a frog in a lake of mud.. move three steps backwards"!!!!
This is the Sharia that Mizra said it Cancelled the Quran!! Nonosense and full with spelling mistakes and Grammatical errors, and when he was debated he said:
"Allah has freed everything from its chains on my hands.. everything is now free.. even letters"!! Which means also that a man can have his nose in his butt because DNA is now free from its restriction.. if Mizra closed his mouth it'd have been better...
This is a simple example...
And when you say: The angel taught him different thing than Allah, you're assuming that Allah is idle, blind and everything goes against his will.. (Glorified is He, and High Exalted above what they say) Why is that? Quran is different from the bible.. where A non Prophet steals the blessings from his blind father instead of his blessed brother.. and God is watching.. God of the Bible Sleeps, eats.. regrets...
For Some reason God in the bible is in a course of regret during the whole book.. revise the old testament...
Edit:
The Quran refers to alterations in the Bible made by haters of religions in that era.. Don't deny that till today the bible is being modified by the Popes.. till we saw the "New international version".. Regarding matters of peace, love, and worship.. I think the two books meet in many areas.
Edit 2:
When Quran refers to the harmony with the Bible.. it's talking about the Bible before the corruption.. According to the Quran.. the current bible is no longer a holy book. Do you deny that the bible has been modified several times by alteration and modification, from the time of Jesus till today?

True; he rejected The revealed Word of God in Scripture and sought his own PERSONAL revelation which contradicted Scripture.
However, Muslims don't think about those things because they have been taught erroneously that Scripture has been 'corrupted'.
And yet after they state that, then they foolishly try to quote Moses....."That God will raise up a prophet"...and attribute it to muhammed rather than recognizing that it was really a prophecy of the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ. !
How twisted mentally can they be?

That wouldn't happen, Muslims are on this earth to follow Qur'an and Sunnah....there is no need to imagine another book as holy as Holy Qur'an...
ADDED:
Rev. Albert Einstein, my advice to you is that if you hate Islam so much then stop reading questions that are regarded to MUSLIMS, not Christians. stop insulting Islam and labeling every Muslim as being ignorant or watever you think. You're acting jealous so if u love your religion then say watever u want about your own religion and dont say bad things about others
and Booger
get ur facts right. what ur saying is untrue
the thing is, what Rev is saying is not tru, and I think I know my religion better then you know it. Angel Gabriel did not reject a word of God. If he did, he would not be an angel. Gabriel recited the words *from God, to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) in his heart, then he recited the words out loud, where he also commanded people who were not illiterate to write the words down. Jesus and Moses did not say "thas isn't so" either. and They are so respected in Islam that I don't even understand why some Christians put down Islam. I hate it when people give out false information about Islam. I'm telling you right now, my religion is Islam, I am Muslim, and I know my religion better then you do, because you are Christan, no Muslim would even ask this type of question

The Bible has been corrupted my friend, thats why the Quran doesn't match with the Bible most of the time!!
Looking at the history of Christianity, we see many meetings held by heads of Christianity to decide/deny some bases of Christianity. Doesn't that tell you something about the religion itself??

As Christians, I suggest we follow our religion and the word of God and not judge others and let God be the judge.
Many Christians seem to forget to follow the principles of their own religion. Why is that?
We should live and let live. Good people from differnt relgions actually have more in common with each other than people from the same religion.
****Good people of the world unite! and put an end to the "my religion is better than yours" mentality that's destroying our world peace and our planet.

The problem with Islam is that they believe Mohammed was God's FINAL PROPHET! A man who raped (married at 6) a nine year old girl and told women to breastfeed grown men in order to make them family members. Who, (unlike Jesus who forgave sin), told people to kill their daughters for wanting to marry outside the family! to stone women for uncovering their hair outside the house. Murder and mayhem, and they want to follow him to their graves so they can have wanton sex with virgins in heaven! (No word about women in heaven unless they are virgins, and none of their women remain virgins?) FINAL PROPHET of ALLAH, and no one can come after him, Jesus was not as smart.... what do you think?
