No that the Biggest myth , go down and test drive a new ford Taurus built on the Volvo chaise or the crown Victoria , and for truck ford made the Ford Jeep No The Jeep You Know of today and we won a word war with it it was called a Ford Willis, go test drive the new edge crossover or the Shelby GT-5-- or the GT-40 well that a pricey car The Parterra was Italian Built but had a ford Motor 351 V-8 Cleavland motor C.I,D. Displacement , whoever is telling you this is very UN educated and has no experience with quality car and trucks, all company's have there problems but Ford Built To Last and They Make Thew best Truck, Hands down, yups follow yuppies and the drive Chevy's, as my dad would say if one jumped off a Cliff they all would follow , now I know there are a Lot of other good vehicles out there but I am not knocking them I just make a living on em, most people that have owned a ford drove the beans out it (Never!!!!! change oil or done the breaks, and just simply ran the crap out of them, and when it broke they say oh fords crap. don't listen to there story unless they tell you the whole story ?Also A.J.Foyt Won The Indy 500 4 Times in a Ford Powered V-8 cosworth 4 over head cams Motor , Call The Coyote Ford Check The History and Look @ all The Ford's That Won The Indy and Nascar Races and Pro Stocks Drags Races Ford #1.. I also noted that someone said ford was outdated , to That person ford Motor company had a over head cam motor in 1963 it was a converted 390 block, Ford was the first american motor compant to stop the small V-8 pushrod motor and go over head , the Police 4.6 litre modular motor same as there V-10 just two more cylinde , chevy still uses the pushrod motor that out dated so he is very wrong on his incorrect awnser, the chevys of today are all toyota teck remember they merged just to steal some there ideas on the toyota chevy nova thing, there going down cause the brought toyota here but to keep up now GM's are built in mexico, cheaper labor,I understand they need to stay in buisness but build your own stuff like ford

After all, Ford recently beat Nissan and is on par with Toyota in quality. Ford has also won the most awards than any car manufacturer in the world! Ford is Britain's most trusted vehicle. Ford is also one of the safest car manufacturers in America, if not the world. Ford's trucks have been the best selling trucks in America for 30 years straight. Do you see anything like this for Toyota or Honda?

Ford makes a great product for the price. When you do a cost per mile: gas, repair, re-sale value, etc. Ford will be the most economical US brand.
P.S. The only speeding ticket I ever got was in a Ford !.

Henry Ford became obscenely wealthy making large numbers of inexpensive cars.
Key word here in "inexpensive." Some people still equate "inexpensive" with "cheap."
The issue should instead be quality; the quality of Ford products is about par with other domestically made cars and trucks. With the level of competition in the automobile market, no manufacturer can survive by making junk any more, a lesson the Japanese learned decades ago, and that domestic car companies still struggle to understand.
Is Ford that "bad?"
No, of course not, or they would have gone out of business a long time ago. Do they make the best quality cars? I don't think so, but I don't think they make the worst, either.
