Yes! I had this problem a while back in college. I had this friend, who I really liked and whom I assumed liked me too because he was spending so much time with me. He'd treat me to a movie, we'd eat together, hang out, do basically everything together. He'd tell me beforehand if he was going some place, and just be sweet to me even in front of my friends! It got to a point where everyone thought that we had already gone steady, except for me and him.
A close girlfriend had told me that a relationship would be inevitable, that I just had to wait for him to pop the question. My feelings were pretty obvious so he'd have no problems with me when the time came. But as time progressed, it seemed apparrent that I was waiting for nothing. After a few months, he started avoiding me and then a month after, he'd act as if nothing happened. I was so confused and hurt that I never spoke to him after that, and never told him my too-obvious feelings, even just for closure.
Few years later, he confessed that he also had feelings for me then, but was too scared because he had been burned by a previous relationship and asked for a second chance.
I said, D-uh! and turned my back on him. Guys like that are such drama queens. They're either too confused or too thick. I would never go that road again.

maybe sometimes, but most of the time the girl is put in the position to accept or reject. If a guy approaches a girl then she knows she is in control, so she plays hard to get, which is very sexy. If girls approached guys more, than it would probablly be different. its just what everyone is used to.

Saw a pigeon play hard to get once. 2 male pigeons were after her. In the end they both flew away. How is this relevant you ask? It's really not, but a cool story non the less.

yea many boys when they know that a girl likes them they try to pretend herd to get so the girl can suffer they like it but if they fall in love then they would obviously be the first to ask out...i know cuz my boyfriend tried me like that and in the end when he knew i was playing same game he got jealous and automatically went out with me that is why its better if you play the game to see if they love you and they will do anything for you i am a girl but i've learned alot from mine

if guys know you like them they might play hard to get. but if you catch them staring at you when you are looking away or spending a lot of time just with you those are both tells. he likes you. Just ask him straight up if he does. if he says no just say he seemed like he did.

you're not supposed to win them over, they should win you over. Men LOVE TO CHASE WOMEN, They are hunters....let them hunt. You'll know it if he likes you.
