What about the different types like lacto, vegan, etc. How healthy is each of those?
I don't eat any meat or fish, but I eat plenty of beans, dairy products, and eggs. Is my diet healthy?
I would like professional opinions. I don't believe in preaching vegetarianism to meat-eaters, so please no one preach meat-eating to me. Thank you.

as long as you get all the nutrients its fine - its your choice.
make sure you get enough protein- daily requirement is 0.5-1g on every pound of body weight (e.g. if you weight 150lbs you need 75-150g of protein a day)
i tried it for one year and i felt good but my body didnt like it - i started losing hair, my nails got brittle and i gained a lot of weight as well.

I'm a vegetarian and I eat most of the things you eat. I feel that is is healthy, I have been a vegetarian for a year and I haven't seen any side effects from being vegetarian, however vegans and raw vegans are too strict for my personal diet and I could see them maybe needed some kind of nutritional supplement, but other types of vegetarians are ok to me. I eat some vegetarian burgers, and nuggets, and now walmart even sell some stuff for vegetarians that serves as a ground beef subsitute most of things are pretty healthy and has lots of protein.

the best thing you can do is go to a dieticition and see what they say as for the protein thing you can get it from protien shakes and bars...but i would load up on the vegies and fruits because some have the same nutriens thet are found in meat...and i know that there are nutrition pills you can take that will help you with the nurtrients found in meat products and i would suggest you take a multivitmin to make sure you get theose vitamins and minerals...

Each individual is COMPLETELY different. To find out what foods your body needs to heal itself and have the optimal amount of health, go to my doctor........it costs $400 for 3 hours of testing and after wards, you will get a food list and laundry list of what's going on with your body. It changed my life.

Doctor's said I had to have a heart operation and after finding this doctor, doing my food list, I haven't had ANY heart incidents in 2 years AND I take NO heart medication! I used to HAVE to!
