I need to open a presentation file a friend sent me that was saved in MAC format. Is there a way to open this with powerpoint 2003? Any help or links to free software would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Yes, the file can be opened easily.

if the file does not have the .ppt extenion on the file name, first thing to do is to add that.

To open a file in Windows you can double-click the file name or double-click the file icon.

You can also open a file by opening PowerPoint, then using File > Open from the menu. If you do this, then you will have to navigate to the file location, select the file, then click the Open button.

This all presumes you have either PowerPoint or the free PowerPoint viewer already installed on your computer. I put the link to the free viewer below.
