Yes, given the pain and suffering they've caused all while taking in loads of cash and making false promises. Damages would be easy to demonstrate.

A class action suit? I think there are people who have been really hurt by the church who would deserve to be in line before us atheists. If by the CHURCH you mean the Catholic church, they have not been a part of my life. But I have seen the damage done to others I know.

You could probably present an arguement that you believe God isn't real, and therefore the church is presenting something false as true. But than you'd have to prove that God didn't exist. Keeping in mind that the absence of proof isn't in itself proof.

No point in it, because of a concept called "standing". One has to show a direct personal injury to have standing to sue; a general disprofit to society does not qualify.
