Is it true that walking can still make you loose weight. Can you loose weight around your bum and tum as well as your legs.

Walking uses up calories and increases metabolism aand circulation. if you are counting calories, you will lose weight. You will tone up mainly the lower tummy, buttocks, and legs. For added beifit, you may want some 5 or 10 lb. ankle and/wrist weights.

Yes Walking is a great way to lose weight although be sure to include a different activity as well as the body becomes accustomed to it and it takes longer and harder work to continue losing it like you did in the beginning. Try incorporating it with lightweight dumbells and on and off jogs as your fitness levels go up, You will see a huge difference. Yes you can lose it of your bum and tum but you need to hold your stomach in as if you are doing a pelvic floor muscle exercise as you are walking and you keep your posture nice and tall. When jogging, Try squeezing the cheeks of your bum together as this will also help.

Walking is a huge part of loosing weight. All the dieting can only do so much as too not add weight on but the walking is what burns the old weight off.

The only true way to loose weight any where in your body is a combination of diet and exercise, there is no other "true" way

Eat right, and exercise..
Walking is a very good one.. just walk at a faster pace than you usually would.. Start slow then work your way up..

weight loss is all about calories in vs calories out - create a slight deficit in your daily caloric intake and you will lose fat
walking burns calories so you spend more during the day

did it work for me ... no.
then again I wasn't counting my calories back then either lol, but I did walk a lot since I road public transportation and stood a while the d@mn bus stop too.
