Along with the U.S., Russia has been the world's great military power. Although some hopeful signs of democracy appeared in Russia after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in '91, today it is regressing back into her old totalitarian autocratic ways. Russian president Vladimir Putin and all of the key leaders come from the upper ranks of the KGB. Putin has made numerous moves recently to centralize authority. Experts believe Russia's oil wealth is allowing Putin to take the country back to autocracy without public outcry. Russia has a vital interest in the Middle East and Persian Gulf. Some control over this area is vital to Russia's national security. Her recent contracts have been with Islamic countries and terrorist entities (such as Iran). For Russia an invasion of Israel with an Islamic coalition would be an opportunity for her to reclaim her lost glory and assert control over the middle east.

God says that it is He that will bring Russia and Iran against Israel so that many nations will know Him. When these nations are utterly humiliated as God keeps His promise to preserve Israel, the nations will know that He is God and that He keeps His promises.

The US, thanks to the 700 Club, is preparing Israel for her destruction by Russia and her Islamic allies.
Face it, Russia does not care about Islam - Peter the Great had some Tartar (aka Turk) blood in him and he was an apostate from Orthodox religion. Plus, Russia has an axe to grind with all the emigres who left Russia after Glasnost and Perestroika and returned to Israel and/or the USA. Putin is looking for payback and the US will be unable to stop him because Putin will use preemptive strike against Israel just as USA used preemptive strike against Iraq.

because Russia will be making weapons for Israels enemy's, and Israel may attack Russia first, you never know. What ever Russia is doing will be effecting Israel, there may be a treat or something and a war will begin.
