Make an alarm clock path leading to the bathroom. She has no choice but to wake up and shut off each of the alarm clocks. :D

Can't wake up or won't wake up?
Why should she worry about waking up on her own if she knows that you will bug her until she gets up?
Make her responsible for getting herself up and ready for school. Take yourself out of the equation. She will not always be in a situation where there will be someone else around to waken her. You'll be doing her a favor in the long run.
One solution is to use more than one alarm clock.. Set the time on each clock just a minute or two apart. Put it just enough out of reach that she has to get up to turn it off. A clock radio that can be set REALLY loud may help. They also have the kind of alarm that the hard of hearing or deaf use, that you put under the pillow and it vibrates like crazy. It would waken anybody.
If she has such a hard time waking up then maybe she's not getting enough sleep and needs to go to bed earlier.

Is she staying up really late? If so, insist on a reasonable bed time. If she whines then simply let her know that if she wants to stay up late then she needs to make sure she gets up in the morning without difficulty.
Maybe if your daughter misses something that she is looking forward to because she wouldn't get up that would teach her a lesson. You could also get her an alarm clock and set both settings for a couple different times. Maybe open the shades and turn on her bedroom light as well as a t.v. or radio.

I've had the same problem. Now that is summer you should try different things and see what works. One day try to wake her up with a loud and obnotious song (if that works you may get an alarm clock that lets you play a specific song or download a free on-line alarm if you teenager lets its computer on all night). Use her cellphone's alarms and try all her ring-tones as an alarm clock. That's what works for me. I put 3 different alarms with my cellphone back to back and I wake up. Do not try watter, thats just really anoying.
Good luck with her! And please don't get scared like my mom. If something bad happens, she will wake up.

I think you need to consider a combination of things in this case.
First, sit down with her and calmly explain that you expect her to get up on her own from now on. I suggest doing this on a Saturday morning. She'll have two days to prepare. Give her all the rules.
Second, help her at night to get everything she needs for the morning ready, to make things easier when she DOES get up. I'm talking about laying out clothes, backpack by the door, etc.
Third, put her alarm clock AWAY from the bed, so she must get up to turn it off (I still do this at age 38). Let her decide which setting (radio or buzzing) will help her get up.
Forth, Make her go to bed AT LEAST 8 hours before she needs to get up. She still needs that much sleep at her age.
Finally, every time she doesn't get up on her own, push her bedtime back 15 minutes.
This is really a matter of conditioning. She's never done it before, so it probably seems impossible to her. I would think her little friends already get up on their own. My 11 year old stepbrother does.
Good luck and best wishes.

Try this:
Give her an alarm clock and a bedtime. Designate the time she must set her alarm, and a time that you will come and wake her (say 15 minutes later) Each day she must be awakened by her parent, the bedtime gets pushed forward 10 minutes.
Trust me...she CAN wake herself up...she will choose to be responsible...stick to it.
Welcome to the world of parenting teens!

Well, they have this cool sonic alarm that's shaped like a grenade that you can throw into her room. Use it a couple of times to wake her up and tell her that if she doesn't wake up with her alarm clock you will keep using it.

The alarm clock doesn't work?
I have to set mine for about a half hour before I want to wake up--then I get to lay there for a while. The annoying noise wakes my sister up, but I appreciate the radio version of a wake-up call.
Make sure it's on full blast, right next to her bed.
I think it's all a mood thing. If you want to wake up in the morning, it's easier... but School? I see why she ignores it :)

Go to the skymall website. There is a cheap alarm clock that sets off a whirly device that flies around the room and beeps, prompting the lazy one to get out of bed and catch it to make it stop.

Take a look at that..lol There's also another one on the market that goes off pretty loud but once the alarm goes of, it sends the clock moving, vibrating and going everywhere until it's picked up and turned off. I'm sure if you punch in a few key words on yahoo you can find it.
