I've been wanting to ask out this girl out for a while, but didnt get a car until recently, and she lives 40 minutes away. I've hung out with her a few times, but I havent asked her out yey. My guy friends are telling me to forget about her because I'm going off to college and shes still gonna be in high school. They say that the college girls will be hotter and that I should just focus on getting laid. I think in my mind that I shouldnt have to forget about her because she lives less than an hour from me. Also, the age difference feels weird. I know its only 2 years, but I'm in college and shes in high school. So what do you guys think? Should I ask her out or wait a little longer or what?

When I was a high school freshman, I dated a guy who was a freshman in college. My sophomore year, I dated a college sophomore (different guy). I've always been attracted to older men. My parents were ok with the guys I dated, after meeting them, that is. So, really it's up to the girl and her parents. But go ahead and ask her. If you like her, isn't that what matters?

If you feel that strongly about her, than you should ask her out. Ultimately, it's about how you feel, not what your friends think of the situation.
There's nothing weird or wrong about the fact that you are a college freshman and she is a high school junior. It's only two years. It's not as though you are going to school far away. Distance does not pose a threat. I would say if you want to, go for it.

Best of luck!
