*sighs* It saddens me that those who take the Bible too literally, in their zeal for literalism, can go against what Jesus Himself said and preached.

Example, those of you that believe in a literal rapture where people will rise into the air and meet Jesus Christ in the air...
1 Thessalonians 4:17
After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

1. GRAVITY would have something to say about that wouldn't it? (It IS a natural law of course, and as a part of the natural world, God made that law didn't He? - yet that would go against His own nature and creation)
2. Jesus Christ Himself refuted this...
Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you.

That the Kingdom is coming not with things you can see, would refute a literal rapture. I'd notice people rising into the air and cars crashing when they become unmanned wouldn't you?

Besides, as a mystic who already knows this well... the Kingdom is WITHIN you! So says Jesus Christ, Master of my Way and my Saviour, Himself!

PS. Read and know Revelation... been raptured spiritually myself already, so another reason why the Kingdom is within you, and the rapture will usher in the Kingdom not with things that can be seen.

A quick tour of the rapture. Buckle up.

By 1909, Arminianism and Darbyism had infiltrated most of the denominations in America. That year, Cyrus Scofield published his famous Scofield Bible. That Bible became the predominant Bible used in the seminaries in America. In the margin notes, Scofield readily accepted the dispensationalist teachings of J.N. Darby, and some of the other Jesuit lies. As can be expected, by the middle of the 1900’s, most of the students graduating from America’s seminaries were well indoctrinated in both the Jesuit lies of Arminius, and the Dispensationalist hogwash of J.N. Darby. By the end of that century, almost every church in America taught some level of Arminianism and the predominant eschatological view was of a future rapture followed by a seven-year tribulation. Both concepts were openly and clearly Jesuit concepts pushed by the Society of Jesus in order to counter the Doctrines of Grace.

The rapture WILL be literal, but it won't be according to the pre-tribulation "Left Behind" scenario. Jesus spoke many times about His second coming. And when it happens, gravity won't be an issue. Check out the first link below.

Well, as far as the idea of a rapture taking place as part of a secret Second Coming before the public Second Coming, I would suggest those who believe in that doctrine read the following links

There is only one Second Coming. There will not be three comings of Jesus Christ.

by the way Rapture won´t be from life or going to be alive is from dead meaning that the people who have the oportunity to go heaven as soon as they died they are resurrected in heaven at the speed of thought,

Jesus died and was resurected and then went to heaven so his disciples.

but the argument of gravity is not valid cause remember that Jesus "floated or walked" over the sea.

First, God can defy natural laws- he can perform miracles.

Second, if you read on in that same chapter that says "the kingdom of God is within you", it also says " I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."

The laws of nature that God designed, don't control nor confine God.
He operates ouside of earth's natural laws.
Yes, the Rapture will occur..and it will be soon
