hi am 21years old and 5'6 and 312lbs what do i do i have two kids that need me i have tryed everything that is out there if i dont do something i will be dead soon i know this am thinging of fasting for some months but i dont know its not like am one of them big big girls when i tell people iam 312lbs they think thats a lie because i dont look like 312lbs i just dont know where the fat is well i see fat but not like the scale says even my docter have to put me on the scale two or three times to make sure please tell me something help me please before its to late

I am in a similar position that you are in. I'm 5'1" and weigh 289. I have lost 13 lbs though in the last 2 months and I will tell you how. Its really no big secret, and its not nearly as complicated as people try to make it out to be: Take in less calories than you burn. Go to Fitwatch.com and calculate your BMR, that is your Basel Metabolic Rate. That will be the number of calories that you need to take in to maintain the weight you are at right now. From the info you've given me, yours will probably be somewhere around 2300. From there, cut out 200 calories a day. That's like one Coke a day. After a couple weeks, cut out 200 more. Don't cut too many calories at once, or you'll be too hungry and cheat, and then you will beat yourself up. Set up easily attainable goals so that you can continue to encourage yourself. I've also gotten myself a pedometer and started the 10,000 steps a day walking program. You'll burn some calories, and with the pedometer, you'll have the instant gratification of reaching a step goal. (Don't try to do 10,000 steps right off the bat, you have to work up to it.)

Most importantly though, you must know that no matter what you look like, you are good enough just as you are. It's the person you are, not the package you come in that counts. When you like yourself, regardless of your faults, you have the self confidence it takes to make changes for the better in your life. God Bless You and Good luck. I learned this from a book called " The Wieght Loss cure" by kevin Trudeu. He lost 45 lbs. in 45 days with out exercising . He used a tea call Wu-Long Tea. It makes you loose 1 lbs or more in day. It really does work trust it doesn't cost alot and is very healthy,of course its tea,but its actually spelled Oolong but its' spelled Wu-Long if you look for it in the internet. The good thing about it is that you loose and after you finish loosing weight you can eat whatever you want with out gaining it!

cut out diet sugar and regular sugar.

eat to live - don't live to eat - join a support group - i have friends that started at over 400 lbs and have lost over 100 lbs at weight watchers - some people do really well with that.
