Most ceremonies exclude the phrase "if anyone objects or knows any reason why these two should not be married speak now or forever hold your peace".
Simply because it is no longer relevant. The reason they use to use this phrase is because there was no record keeping, and it was to make sure neither the groom or bride was still married.

IN short nothing would really happen because the bride and groom would have already applied for the marriage license and it already would have been verified that neither were married.

It would be terribly rude of someone to do that I think he'd have to dodge some punches for sure!

They don't really have this anymore. It doesn't make a difference to the ceremony unless it is a legal reason (eg, still married). In which case the priest talks to all parties and can decide to go along with the wedding as both bride and groom want (if it wasn't a legal reason) or refuse to marry them.

If somebody truly had objections, I would hope they would have the respect to express their concern BEFORE the wedding day. Besides, I don't think this is even included in most weddings today.

I believe the minister pulls them aside and ask the validity of the objection.. i it may be worthy of an objection ie, he' still married, or other legal issues that the bride/groom may not have known,,,

and I guess it's left in the hands of the minister and couple to see if they want to go ahead wioth ethe ceremony...

I have yet to EVER hear any minister EVER even bring it up. I was just at a wedding on Saturday and they didn't say it. I really think it's just used in movies and television as a plot point.

generally, no one even giv es that opportunity anymore, outside of movies and TV. if someone were to object, it would basically stop everything and he/she had better know of a REALLY good reason or they would be dragged away by the family/friends/cops for sure.

The person has to have a really good reason to stop the wedding. Then the bride and groom would decided if they wanted to continue.

i'm sure the priest or pastor will stop and ask the person for a legit and real reason as to why two people should not get married. You never know. If someone knows something that i dont and i shouldnt get married i would want for someone to tell me.

It depends. If it's a woman holding a newborn then the groom might actually be in trouble. If it's a man he's probably jealous thus would be deserving of a beatdown.

Everyone looks at them like they are a piece of trash, and then the wedding commences.
