I was wearing these cute white Capri's and a navy blue gauze shirt, and got my period and I don't know why I never noticed but some one said "do you have your period" I said no why, he said "your pants are full of blood" ... OMG I ran to the rest room and then to my car.
if it were a women maybe I wouldn't have felt so bad, but it was a guy, a cute one at that.

Job interview, where there were "no correct answers" to situations - like how to control a group of Chinese which had entered the country illegally via the Rio Grande River (I think they rewrote the manual after my interview)
I also had gotten 5 extra points on the exam for checking off that I could say 3 particular things in Spanish (I could) but then the interviewer said, "Ahora, hablamos en Espanol" and I knew it was all over for me.

In Boston Mass years ago I was listening to a small lady talk about starvation. After the talk was over, there was a meal.
I got in line and accepted the free meal. At that time in my life I could have afforded to eat at any restaurant of my choosing.
When I was served my meal, I had a hard time, actually eating this food. It was the first time in my life I finally understood the definition of the words, Humble, and Charity.
The small lady that was serving me my meal, happened to be
a saintly lady named "Mother Theresa". I felt embarrassed to eat this food knowing that many throughout the world were starving!

Imagine a young science teacher 7 months pregnant. So pregnant in fact she is waddling (kids made quacking noises as I passed in the hall). Imagine her running to the b-room btwn classes and hurrying back. Next she turns around to write the day's assignment on the board and the room goes silent for the 1st time all semester. Do you have any idea what she did? Yup she tucked her skirt in her tiny bikini panties and basically mooned her entire class.

My first day of 7th grade, I made fake Nikes out of cheapie sneakers with white out and magnetic tape. They looked terrible, but I stupidly went to school with them anyway. And the word got around fast, and was humiliated by virtually everyone to the point I was crying at the end of the day. It was literally one of the worst days of my life. I laugh about it now.

Mine was when I realized, that I was living in a dreamland, and the reality of it was I really needed to recognize what my alien parents wanted. Without them, everything else was a lie, and I really know that I am not living a lie now and I will be rescued by my alien parents!!

I got caught cheating at cards and the person who caught me told my dad. He wept! The only other time I EVER saw my dad cry was when his mom died. I live with the shame I brought to him years after he passed.
