Most Chinese people today have no religion, so I guess they think when you're dead, you're dead! In ancient Chinese mythology though, they believe that it started with a black egg, and Pangu (basically the first living thing/deity that existed) cracks it open, and creates the universe, the sky and the earth. Then Nuwa, another figure in mythology, creates people out of clay. The myths also say that when you die, you go to Hell (but it's not necessarily a negative thing), which is like a big maze, to atone for your sins.

What kind of Americans continue to view Chinese-Americans as foreigners? All Americans? That's one heck of a generalization.
