Go for it! I'm 45 and dated a guy who was 29. It depends upon his maturity level. If he's on the mature side things will be fine, if not, you're asking for trouble. It also depends upon what you're looking for and if you guys have things in common. That 29 year old guy reminded me of things (non-sexual) that I had forgotten about. You never know. People are brought into your world for a reason. If he makes you smile and you're happy to be around him, then enjoy it.

Definitely need more detail with this!

Are you happy with him? Is he mature? Is this a serious relationship or just some fun? Et cetera.

Look if you want fun I say go for it. On the other hand if you're looking for a serious relationship I'd say have a very serious think about it. Age really is just a number and I think you are how old you feel. What matters is the difference in maturity level and stage of life. For example, could you be with someone this age for the rest of your life? Does he want children at some stage? Where do you both see your lives going? What do you want out of life and does it match or even matter?

Also, you will get strange reactions from people, so I hope you're prepared for that. Other peoples opinions should never matter though, except your loved ones of course, this is a decision you have to make for you.

There must be a lot of differences in your lifes. Such things as simple as likes in music, culture etc. Also how do your friends react to this relationship and his. I would imagine that some are pretty uncomfortable being around you two. Face the fact that you are literally old enough to be this kids mother and as such must be very much more mature then he. But if it floats your boat go for it, it just wouldn't be my cup of tea. I am 51 with a 50 year old wife and I would not trade her for a pair of 25 year olds.

Oh my God. OHmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod!!!!

I think you are to old for him. I am 43 and my husband is 45. What is the world would you want with a 24 year old boy? S3X might last longer, but geez, older men have so much more experience to offer. Most 24 year olds just don't quite have a clue yet.

Enjoy it while it last if that is what you like, I just can't understand it myself.

I'll keep my "old" man.

If you're asking other people's opinions you either care too much about what the people who see you together think or you are, in fact, not too sure of your own opinion. Inwhich case you're not totally comfortable in the situation yourself so I suggest you don't worry about the ages and just the people you both are. If you two work then stop doubting your original judgement and go with it. But if you do find your not comfortable with it just tell him.
