don't forget, if you have a skill or talent, you can get into many high schools that are 'better than average'.
If you sing, dance, act, play an instrument or do art, apply for LaGuardia HS of Music & Art and the Perfoming Arts. its near Columbus Circle sto (A C D B 1 trains)
if you are good in math and science, apply for - stuyvesant, brooklyn tech, bronx science
remember, the best high school is the best for You. i enjoyed LaGuardia, others enjoyed other schools.
In Brooklyn, some of the better schools are Murrow (Edward R Murrow HS) and also Midwood HS,

Stuyvesant - Manhattan
Brooklyn Tech
Bronx Science
Townsend Harris - Queens
Cardoza - Queens
By far these five are the best. The next five are unworthy to be compared to these schools so I won't list them.

they have reviews of every school in nyc, my mom forced me to read that stuff when i was applying to high school back then
i dont think there is such thing as a best hs
there is something for evryone and it depends on your interests
i go to stuyvesant actually, but i dont think it is the BEST
what grade are you going to?
