i have recently had problems with my pc and its not as fast as it uset to so what can i do to get the best results on line and off line and i have comcast internet and it was fast for a month but recently it got rely slow undramatically what should i do?

1. Offline. Keep your PC free of viruses and spyware. If you do not need them, you can disable certain processes, especially network ones. You can do this through XP by running "mmc" from the Run command. You can do this from Vista through "msconfig" from the Run command.

2. Online. Get a good pop-up blocker. Close any file-sharing programs you may be using while you are surfing the internet. If you have Firefox, you can turn on pipelining by typing "about:config" into the address bar, and searching for "pipelining", and then changing the variables' value from "false" to "true".

Buy more RAM memory, make sure you don't have spyware, do a Disk Cleanup and Defragment, also make sure when you boot up Windows you don have unnecessary programs booting up as well, also do a cleanup of the browser by deleting browsing history and everything else you can on your browser...
