personally, i think its all about the inside, not the outside.

She is a reflection of me.
Even if she has a dynamite personality, if she looks like 10 miles of wet Georgia road, it reflects badly on me.
(And could that be any more shallow and vapid? People can get so venal)

WRONG! It is about everything! A person has to feel attraction to an individual. Tte inside matters, but so does the outside! Would you rather look at a horny toady or a beautiful flower? A majestic mountain or a burned out holler? A rose or a thistle? It is only natural to want to look at something beautiful over something ugly regardless of what is inside, isn't it?

I asked my best guy friend what they cared more about once and all he said was "Looks capture the eye, But personality captures the heart."
But personally I think they do. But personality is still important to them in the long run. But I think it's important to keep up your hygene and try. Whether you think your pretty or not, put in effort to dress decently and stay clean. I had a friend who is a girl and a lot of guys think she's kinda pretty but they're completely turned off by her because her hair is always oily and she wears some gross clothes sometimes.

I agree, it is about the inside. Unfortunately, for most of us guys anyway, it's the looks that first attracts us and the personality that keeps us. In the end, as far as relationships go, it is all about the inside.

Here's the thing....the outside is what you see first, but eventually when you get to know the girl, the inside starts to count way more. Physical attraction and chemistry have to be there to make it happen.

It genetics, like in other animals the male are a lot prettier than the females, because the females is the one who chooses who she would mate with. This is especial true with fish and birds. Naturals selection keep the good genes get rid of the bad ones.

honestly speakin, its because the first thing a guy sees is the way a girl looks. If the guy just go by personality, the guy would just be goin through every girl just to see which one is the right one

It would be nice if looks didn't matter to us, but honestly they do. Our brains are hard wired to respond to what we see. All of the teasing in the world hasn't changed that, in spite of the fact that priests, philosophizers, and poets have tried for hundreds of years, without any effect, to change us.

It is just the way we are. You mean to tell me that you would date someone you were not attracted to? Physical attraction is usually the first part of dating. I don't know anyone, male or female that has pointed to someone and said " wow , I bet they are a good conversationalist".
