No such surgery, unless you want all your teeth pulled and false ones put in.
Braces is the only way, and it takes time.

I'm in the same position as you. The only thing I've ever seen was very expensive. The doctor takes out your teeth, drills holes into your jawbone, inserts metal sleeves that will accept a screw-in new tooth.
I'm 39 and my teeth are a mess (no braces as a kid, unending ametuer hockey career) and I get more self-conscious about it every day.

I don't believe is a surgery to do that no, unless they remove all of your teeth and give you dentures, but they don't do that very often for younger people.. It's usually for the eldery or the people who's teeth are rotting etc... Having braces wouldn't be that bad.. what about a plate?? You can remove the plate when you want to, but it's usually better to keep them in. I have a splint in currently (lock my jaw in the socket) it's a bit painful, but hey, in the end it will be worth it!

No, not that I've heard of. If that were the case, then people wouldn't get braces anymore.
