used to dip???? ok i dont understand that! if it is at the very back of your tooth line/ gum it may be wisdom teeth does it hurt when you touch it? it may be an absess? best bet is to go to a dentist and get it seen to! if your in the uk and not at an nhs dentist or registered to a dentist you get it seen to at a hospital!

Ok, quitting dip is good. Is this lump hard and on the inside of the lower jaw? Chances are you have mandibular tori which occur in response to a heavy occlusion. If you have been clenching or grinding your teeth, this is a response from your body to the added stress to the jaw. Clenching or grinding will cause the teeth to ache. This will be a generalized ache that you can't pick out as one tooth. Now, why not make a time to see your dentist for a checkup and cleaning?

DON'T WORRY!!! I had the same exact thing and it's called a cankersore...or something like that. I went to the denstist and he said it was perfectly natural. It has to do with if you were brushing your teeth too hard or anything like that...so don't worry ...you DON'T have cancer in your mouth....hey, at least I saved you a trip to the dentist!! lol...not to worry!!
