The first sin was committed in the Garden when Eve took it upon herself to eat of the apple of Good and Evil. Then they lied about it.
From then on SIN was apart of everymans nature- We are each born into Sin. thereafter- In the Old Testament to atone there sins- they sacrificed an animal- in the New Testament- Jesus Christ took our place- and through Repentance, Baptism in Jesus Name and Receiving His Spirit- being like Christ in His death burial and resurrection we are made clean and can live an overcoming life- over sin.

God has laws. The point of these laws, is that if we live according to them, we will become closer to god. And, contrarily, if we don't, we become disconnected from god.
God realizes that we are inherently good, like all of his creations, but that in our weakness and temptation, we will sin. He is willing to help. He wants us to become closer to him. In this sense, god desires to "save us from our sins". He wants to forgive us of the sins we have already committed and help us from making any more mistakes... despite the fact he knows we will sin again, because he is infinitely compassionate and merciful. And perhaps, because we are his creation, and his plan is that each of us finds him in a unique and wonderful way.

SOME of us believe when you ask Jesus into your heart, you ask HIm to forgive you your sins in the past. If not, they are carried with you until judgment day. OTHERs do not believe you have any sins to ask forgiveness from. It's a choice.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
The wages of sin is death (Spiritually), but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ the Lord!
Believe on the name of Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!

Original sin does not exist. We are descended from other animals, not from a created man and woman who fell from grace. Since we are not born with sin, we don't need a savior.
What we should learn instead is to forgive others for the things they do against us and learn the lesson of love instead of the trap of judging.

The original sin we inherited from Adam and Eve is unavoidable, and only death or Jesus can erase it.
