they do not believe that Jesus Christ is God?
I know he is the Son of God, Prophet,Teacher, Rabbi, and a bunch of other wonderful names. Either he is God or he isn't.

You can believe in His miracles and all His good deeds and still not be saved. You must believe His Words, what He says about Himself; you must believe this in order to be saved.
Even demons can testify to Jesus' miracles and good works. It takes more than this, it takes believing who He claimed to be. God Almighty is Christ Jesus in ALL His Glory.
God Bless You...Peace.

There does seem to be some confusion as to the identity of Christ. But the bible clearly shows that Jesus claimed to be God..for that is why the Jews wanted to kill him.
Joh 10:33
The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God."
Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all God..it is important that every Christian fully understand this.

The important thing is; Are you Born Again? God's Holy Spirit living in you. Have you become one with God? Have you turned from your sins and allowed Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. This is what makes us a Christian, not just a belief.

No! That is the basis of Christianity, that God sent Jesus Christ, His one and only SON to the Earth to die for us. For him, a perfect being, to die on the Cross for us as sinners, that takes away the sins that Christians (who have all sinned)! He is God--it is too complicated for the human mind, but Jesus Christ is God and His (and our) father is the same God.

Jesus Christ is recognized as God Incarnate. This is basic Orthodox Christian dogma.
One cannot reject the core of Christianity and be a Christian.
So, NO.

To be saved you must admit you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died for your sins, put your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior (believe with your heart), repent (turn from the direction you are heading), and relinquish control of your life to Christ.
Yes, you could do that without understanding that Jesus is God.

Do you want to know if He is God? or do you want to clarify that to follow Jesus is to be a Christian?
1) if you follow Jesus Christ, you are a Christian
2) Jesus is known as Wonderful, Councilor AND everlasting Father (God) , Eternal King, Lord of Hosts, Emmanuel (God with Us) - so He is God.
blessings :)

No, To become a Christian you must put your trust in Christ and believe that He died on the Cross for your sins, rose again and is comin again. Then all you do is ask Him for Salvation and it is yours. Romas10:9-13
