i saw a game with combat simulation fighting (fighter jets) - lock on, pacific fighters and IL2 - will they work with vista and a joystick

It will work with a joystick but i am not sure about windows vista.

1, Joystick? Definitely, as long as the joystick is DirectX compatible.
2. Vista? Maybe. You may have to run it under a compatibility mode in order to get it to work right. You may want to look around the Internet to see if anyone has already tried it under Vista, and if it works, or how they got it to work.

Yes you might have to bring down the capadablity. Right click on the program and go to the captablity tab and bring it down to what every OS it was made for..
