I can assure you that no you are not the only gay Christian out there I know a good bit of them. I hope that you find someone to talk to and trade thoughts with I don't know what your going through but your not alone. Just keep your chin up and do what makes you happy. Don't push your friends away. Don't ever let anyone make you feel any less because you are what you are. Be who you are and not who people want you to be.

firstly, the sentence 90% of my life lately doesnt fit, its either lately, or most of your life.

If you truely believe you are gay.. Or are whatever, i am straight so i don't know what it's like, surely if you ARE gay, 100%, you wouldn't feel awkward? Sure, maybe nervous about others knowing, but not awkward.

The only time you are ever really awkward about something is when you are unsure of something. I think what you need to do, is sit and think about things. What's actually getting you down.

Possibly even seek proffesional help through a psychiatrist if its depressing you as much as it seems.

All i can say though, is, if you are truely what you say you are, why feel awkward? the thoughts of others don't really matter and if there is a God, I am sure his thoughts are pre-occupied with things other than a persons sexuality. Remember, whatever is quoted in the bible is other peoples interpretations. How many people could missunderstand such things?

You can be gay, and christian.... I don't care what they tell you.... ANY OF THEM...... I'm NOT christian, but I'm not against them either..... I'm all for some of that "free will" stuff you always hear people talking about. I believe that if you live your life to the best of your ability, and don't intentionally hurt anyone else, you'll be okay when it's all over..... Live your life as a GOOD PERSON, and don't worry about what others think of you..... there's someone for everyone, and you'll find yours eventually! As far as "gay christian".... I'm sure you're NOT the only one! The best I can tell, in a christian point of view, God created everyone, and if he created you gay, he's supposed to be perfect, so it must have been what he meant for you to be.... DON'T BE ASHAMED OF THAT! Be yourself, and don't worry so much about what other PEOPLE think! If it's God you're worried about, then he must be okay with you-- HE MADE YOU!

I don't believe you. #1. You are not a Christian if you are gay. #2. Looking for a gay guy isn't going to fix your lonliness, only intensify it! God gives us emotions to experience and feel His many blessings. Lonliness is a red-flag that something ain't right, because when you are right with Jesus you can fly solo and still be the happiest bird around! I flew solo a longggg time in this world, but I never felt alone because I held my Master's hand and He held mine back. There is nothing more miserable than a Believer with unconfessed sin in their life. Fix that aspect of your life, and the rest will fall in place.

Why do you think you are gay, because you are attracted to the same sex. You can control that, it doesn't become a sin until you act on it. The is no proper place on the same sex to care out the act of intercourse that is approved by God.

You say you are a christian, what does that mean to you. I can be a christian and still do the things that displeases God. Sin of of the mind, the body cannot act until you give it a command, thru Christ Jesus you can command your mind to control your body to so the things that pleases God. Stop calling yourself gays and start to call yourself a Christians first. A child of God and no child of God is lonely because he had a personal relationship with his Father. Cheer up, live in the sunshine.

There are different denominations of Christianity and some of them accept gay people and the minister will even marry same-sex couples. Then there are those who preach that homosexuals will go to hell. And then there are denominations whose official position is that homosexuality may be a sin, but they won't ostricize you for it.

Best wishes, and I hope you find an answer to your dilemma that you can live with.

First of all your choice of gender is your business. Most churches condemn gay people but I have heard of a Gay people's christian group. Trouble is I don't remember where but try the Internet. God loves all of us no matter what and sadly many churches and church goers have forgotten this. Only the LOVE matters.

You can't remain dead in sin if you want to be a Christian.
If you don't change your old sinful ways when you turn your life over to God you won't be saved.
When we are saved our old self dies and with it our very nature towards sin.
The new creature we become is spiritually alive in the body of Christ.
You are born into the world as a descendant of Adam but as a descendant of Adam you are a slave to sin and spiritually dead meaning separated from God.
But upon being saved our old selves who are descendants of Adam dies as our new selves are reborn brand new and our new ancestor becomes Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

So in reality by remaining gay even though you are a Christian is like a butterfly trying to live as it did when it was a mere worm.
A butterfly goes through a metamorphosis similar to what we ourselves go through when we become a Christian.
We go from being a worm, crawling around on the ground to a beautiful butterfly, free and completely changed.
Would a butterfly want to act as it did when it was a worm?
No it wouldn't.
By you remaining gay and trying to follow God is like a person who is alive trying to live as if they were dead.
Being gay is against the very nature of Christ whose nature we inherit when we become saved.
Sin is bad for us for a reason, and what parent wants their child who they love so much to sin and cause themselves pain?
Satan hates you and wants nothing more for you than to cause you pain and misery.
So you are in fact at odds within your self because your flesh wants one thing while your spirit wants another.
I would pray and ask God to take this sin from you and give you strength to over come it.
Only with Gods help can we overcome what it is we hate to do the most.
We cannot overcome sin by ourselves trying to do so is like a drowning person trying to save themselves from dying.
Only someone who knows how to swim and is a good swimmer can save someone from drowning.
And God is a very good swimmer.
Focus on God and repent and don't worry about anything else.
Let him do the work within you that he wants so much to do and wonderful things will happen for you as you begin to change and are freed from the torments of sin.
God bless you my brother and may you find peace and joy for all the days of your life.
Amen.

There are actually a lot of gay and lesbian Christians. There are a lot of tolerant churches you can go to. Try and United, Anglican, or Episcopal Church. But if you want to be accepted by your church community, avoid Baptist, Pentecostal, or Calvinist churches.

Good luck!
