It's impossible to completely answer your question based on what we currently know. However, most Europeans today are amalgams or mixtures and Sicilians are no exception.

Technically, Sicilians are probably a mixture of everyone who has ever come there in its long history going all the way back to the Neolithic period (c. 10,000 to 3500 B.C.).

Nevertheless, the four most dominant ethnicities in the Sicilian population appear to be 1) Siculi (an Indo-European people, probably Italo-Celtic), 2) Greek (Primarily Dorian Greek), 2) Carthaginian (or Phoenecian) and 4) Armenian.

Many Greeks and Armenians were brought to Italy forcibly by the Romans as slaves in the first few centuries before and after Christ..

From what I've read about the Italian genome, the amount of blood contributed to the Sicilians by the Arabs, Normans and Spaniards is neglible. Even though they ruled Sicily for long periods of time, their DNA and other genetic markers don't turn up in the modern Sicilian population to any great extent.

Although many Sicilians are swarthy complexioned, not all of them are. Frank Sinatra's father was of Sicilian origin and had fair skin and blue eyes. I knew a woman at work a few years back of Sicilian heritage who also was a blue-eyed brunette. Europe, in general, is all mixed up that way.

Well, for starters, you could change your "nick". It is offensive and absolutely insulting and rude.

Secondly, do your your homework, learn your history and geography.
a) Sicily is an island and is part of the country of Italy,
b) Many Sicilians are fair; some have auburn and blond hair, c) Many Sicilians have green or blue eyes,
d) And many are over 6 feet tall.

Third, the same is true for Northern Italy.

Sicily is an island that belongs to Italy. However, the Sicilians have some Northern African and Arab blood in them due to the historical development of the island and its people.
