Generally I tell people that I am between the ages of 13 and 65, but today I will admit that I am probably very close to your age. On to the question...do I like sci-fi? Wait! Is that actually a question?! OF COURSE I LOVE SCI-FI! This includes but is not necessarily limited to Star Trek (all of them, but especially voyager), Star Wars, SG-1, Atlantis, etc.

I love sci fi. My 16 year old daughter does too, so your not the only teen out there. Love stargat sg1 and atlantis, too bad sg1 is over now. I wish they would bring little jack onto atlantis, but at least they will have carter. We also watch Kyle Xy and 4400 (4400 is a great show, if you aren't watching it, start). Startrek is always a good watch especially next gen and deep space 9. My daughter is a twilight zone addict always records the marathons. Anyway love sci fi. Wish Firefly would come back too. Oh I really like Eureka too, kinda quirky. Man there are so many great sci fi shows.

My favorite sci-fi TV shows are Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. I also watch Star Trek TOS once in a while. What's Doctor Who about? I've heard of it before but I've never seen it. If you haven't seen Stargate SG-1 or Stargate Atlantis yet I suggest you watch them. Stargate SG-1 was cancelled but Stargate Atlantis is still running new episodes. They are coming out with two Stargate SG-1 direct to DVD movies though. The first is Stargate: The Ark Of Truth and it finishes the Ori storyline. The second is Stargate: Continuum and it's a time travel story with O'Neill [yeah] in it.

I like the SG1 series and all the Star Treks except Enterprise, I was also a big fan of Twilight Zone, Sliders, and Alien Nation. Since you're new (apparently) to SciFi, try your local Blockbuster or other video store, go through their SciFi section and pick out things you think will appeal to you. It took me years to finally start understanding a lot of SciFi, but I even read it now - try Larry Niven/Jerry Pournelle - Lucifer's Hammer, and also Footfall.

Yep, like scifi a LOT-- as long as it's well done. Loved Star Trek from the first; Twilight Zone; Outer Limits; Alien Nation the series was great; Doctor Who-- have you ever seen Blake's Seven? A great British series. Ooh, and Sapphire and Steel, though that was a little more fantasy. There are a lot of good fantasy series too, like Buffy and Angel, Beauty and the Beast, Night Stalker (original), War of the Worlds, the series-- the first season, didn't like the second. It lost its sense of humor. Quantum Leap had its moments. What am I leaving out?

well, can't help you with the age range thing, but I have all 10 seasons of Stargate SG1 on DVD if that answers your question.

This response is a little off what you asked, but if you REALLY like Sci-Fi - have you read any Marion Zimmer Bradley? She wrote a series (not really a series as each book stands on its own) called Darkover. It's awesome (IMHO) and should be made into a mini-series for the Sci-Fi Channel. It would blow away anything currently on TV.

It has everything - intrigue, action adventure, romance, mystery, just about every genre is in her "series." Highly recommend it. (BTW, I'm a geezer but enjoyed it in my late teens and twenties and yes, it's still relevant.)
