I wonder how much weight people gain back after the 7 day cabbage diet. Do they go back once they gain weight?
Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and exercise, you will not have problem losing some fats and weight. There are no hunger pangs too.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.
Details such as meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog

well maybe your body has found a way to work around the diet and ignore it . I suppose if you want to lose weight you shouldn't go on a fad diet because it causes tremendous headaches and exhaustion . trust me you need the correct amount of energy in food . i have been on the cabbage diet and have gained the weight back afterwards . hope this helps

My old roommate did it and lost ten pounds in less than a week. Which is great if you WANT to loose the weight but I don't think that healthy. I think a healthy amount is like 2 pounds a week so I don't know if it stays off.

it's a complete waste of time and is nothing more than another bad fad diet. at best you will lose some water weight at worst you will further slow down your metabolism making it even harder to manage the weight or change the body composition (decrease body fat) in a positive manner.

ok you should try a different variety of foods ok, if you get used to eating vegies and watermelon your body might not get what it needs. you could try taking vitamin supplements for the missing nutrients. but i just don't see how you would do it, but if you enjoy the food then maybe it will work for you :)

i went on this diet - it was horrible!!!!!
you have to eat different restrictive things everyday. For example, day one only vegetable no potatoes or fruit or anything else.
The following is a good site:

This sounds utterly dreadful and potentially dangerous. Have you checked this diet out with a doctor?

my boss and one of my co-workers did this for a while. they lost some weight, but they were just not dedicated enough. they're those people who are on a new diet every week. anyway...so i would think that it would work for you if you stay dedicated for long enough considering they lost and didn't stick strickly to it...right??
smelt like crap.
