Ive had tattoos on my rib cage and didnt hurt much, but when i got my ears pierced it was def a different kinda pain. So on a scale 1-10 what is the pain for a lip piercing 1 is the lowest pain.

3 the worst part is the clamp. I loved mine when I had it. Piercings are a different type of pain, I have 2 and they hurt more than ANY of the 7 piercings I've had done. The after effects are not too bad, just got to get used to it being there, youll hit it with your teeth or with a fork and want to scream but it will heal! Good luck.

Seeing as though you had a tattoo on your rib cage your pain tolerance seems high, I'd say lip piercings hurt about a 2 on a scale of 1-10. I have two lip piercings I don't think they hurt at all.

Well, when I went to get my labret pierced, I heard it was going to hurt like bloody hell. So I was building it up, thinking how painful it was going to be, and I almost backed out when I saw the clamps and saw the dot being drawn on. But, it actually didn't hurt much..all I've ever had done was my ears, no tattoos [yet] so it was like a first time for me. But since you've had tattoos on your rib, I'm pretty sure you can handle it. The piercer will put pressure on it, to take your mind off of the pain. I'd say, it was like a 2.

There is a trick to having it not hurt!
when the piercer tells you to take a deep breath and let it out, the harder you let the breath out the less you will feel it,
I have snake bites and they didn't hurt at all for about an hour then were only a little sore.
I would give it a score of 2.

Its about a 4-5, soemtimes even a 7 if you dont handle ain very well. If you got a tat and you didnt end up crying, i think it should be around a 5 or 6.

well. everyone has a different pain tolerance.
i'm pretty sure you can take it since you got a tattoo on your rib cage.
