Your hardware may not be compatible with Vista. Unfortunately, you may end up having to replace your hardware to something that's Vista friendly.

If you can, take it back.

You should have run the Vista Upgrade Advisor test first. Visit http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/buyorupgrade/upgradeadvisor.mspx

You really should consider just how good Windows XP has become. Here are the benefits:
- more software compatible
- more hardware compatible
- runs faster
- detects and installs new hardware or USB devices faster
- can be made more secure with many third party security packages

So maybe you are stuck now.. Just maybe you want to look for new hardware, so you can get your Windows Vista working. visit http://www.newegg.com and look for devices that are Windows Vista compatible.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

1. Identify what model your video card is, and download a Vista driver, if available, for it. If not, you can try to use the latest XP driver available for it, but it may not work properly.

2. What part of your motherboard can you not find drivers for? There is no single "motherboard" driver.

This is simple. Downgrade back to Windows XP.
