I have olay soap, and I want to use it to clean my face and then use my 10% b. peroxide. Does it matter which I use, are they both gentle?

PH on Dove soap is 7; it is very gentle and is one of the best soap. Olay is one of the two best skin care company in the world. I will put my money on Olay any time. When you talking about soap, both are very best money can buy.

bar soap isn't good to wash your face with. you need a cleanser specifically formulated to treat your current acne condition. just think (if you want you could do this)...after washing your face w/ the bar of soap leave it out to dry. the next morning when you enter your bathroom, look at the soap. notice, how dry it looks and feels? THAT'S WHAT THAT IS DOING TO YOUR SKIN! Yeah...so, not good!

actually, no matter what ppl say, bar soap to wash your face isnt good. Itll dry out the skin and irritate it. You like, clearisile and then you stuff. Thats what I have to do. And it works SSOOO much better than bar soap.

best to use specific acne soap for your face. deodorant soap on your face might cause more irriation. swiss ives is a gentle brand

I use original orange Dial on my face--it is anti-bacterial, so it keeps my skin clear. I have dry skin, but it does NOT irritate or excessively dry my face!
